சுவிற்சர்லாந்து லுசான் சர்வகலாசாலையில் சினிமா உருவாக்கப் பட்டயப் படிப்பினை நிறைவு செய்த கீர்த்திகன் சிவகுமாரின் Keerthigan Sivakumar உருவாக்கத்தில் "Doosra" குறுந்திரைப்படம் சென்ற ஆண்டு, ஐரோப்பிய நாடுகளில நடைபெற்ற பல சர்வதேச திரைப் படவிழாக்களில் விருதுகளையும், பாரட்டுக்களையும் பெற்றிருந்தது.

The 59th edition taking place this year, our film will be participating.
Given that Solothurn is in the multilingual cantons of French and German-speaking regions in Switzerland, the audience is likely to include those proficient in French and German languages. In this film festival, which is annually dedicated to showcasing Swiss cinema, over 150 films are being screened. The majority of these films are either full-length features or short films produced within Switzerland. Alternatively, some may be collaborations between Swiss production companies and European filmmakers. Given that films recommended for Swiss cinema awards are featured in this festival, several notable figures from the Swiss cinema industry associated with the Swiss Film Academy are likely to attend.
The prestigious award at this festival is called Prix du Soleure, and any film demonstrating impactful storytelling and powerful cinematic representation has the potential to win this esteemed accolade. Approximately 65,000 attendees are expected this year, from January 17th to 25th. Unlike traditional awards ceremonies, there are no red carpet events honoring celebrities; instead, cinema luminaries engage with the public, fostering a unique sense of community throughout the festival, setting it apart from other film events.
Keerthigan Sivakumar had completed his studies in film making at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland. His short film ‘Doosra’ received awards and recognitions at various international film festivals in European countries last year. His work has gained acclaim, earning both accolades and applause at many festivals. His next work is the short film "Le Gap" produced by the Box company from Lausanne, with the support of the Swiss central government and the state government. The shooting of this short film on the issues of diaspora communities took place last March. It is noteworthy that after all its technical work has been completed, it has been chosen to participate in the Solothurn Film Festival, one of Switzerland's major film festivals.
